The Dream US
 Criteria: Immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2017 and be admitted to one of our Opportunity Partner Colleges.  Information is available at https://www.thedream.us/about-us/

Sioux Valley Energy: Customers Scholarship 
Criteria: Senior; only dependents of SVE members/customers are eligible to apply; must have a 3.0 GPA or higher; plan to be a full-time student in an accredited college or vocational-technical school.  For more information visit the counseling office or www.siouxvalleyenergy.com

Sioux Valley Energy: Power Line Scholarship 
Criteria: Dependents of Sioux Valley Energy members/customers; students interested in the Power line work field. Information in the counseling office or www.siouxvalleyenergy.com  
Award: $250-$1,000 
Deadline: 4:30 pm, January 13, 2023 

Eastern Chapter South Dakota Engineering Society 
Criteria: Senior who plans to attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Or South Dakota State University and study engineering.   Information is available at www.sdes.org and in the counseling office. 
Award: $2,000 
Deadline: January 14, 2023  

Kiwanis Educational Foundation  
Criteria: Applicants must be a graduate form a high school in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Superior Wisconsin, and must attend a college or university location in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Superior Wisconsin.   A letter of recommendation from a school staff member and the student letter must be submitted to the counseling office by noon on January 19th.   The letter needs to include: an introduction of yourself; academic awards and honors; extracurricular activities and awards; community service performed; organizations to which you belong in your school; tell about your plans for using your post-secondary education.  Please do not hesitate to add anything that may aid the committee in making a selection such as family situations or financial need.    More information is available in the counseling office.    
Award: $700.00  
Deadline: noon January 19th, 2023 (submitted to the counseling office)


NextGrad Warrior Success Scholarship 
Criteria: Seniors who have experienced a challenge, setback, or failure and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary school. Applications available in the counseling office.
Award: $1000  
Deadline: April 30 , 2023

STEM Scholarship  
Criteria: Involvement in the model railroading hobby, seeking post-secondary education in science, technology, engineering, arts or math, full-time enrollment at a two- or four-year college, 3.0 GPA or higher, participant in extracurricular activities or volunteer work, and one or two refences.   The application is available in the counseling office.   
Award: $500 (2) 
Deadline: May 1, 2023 

College Board Scholarships
Criteria: The College Board Opportunity Scholarships program is open to class of 2022 high school students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories.
