Quest Bridge Scholarship Program
Criteria: Junior and Seniors; must have demonstrated academic excellence in the face of economic obstacles. For more information go to www.questbridge.org
Award: Up to a full four-year scholarship.

AES Engineering Scholarship
Criteria: High school seniors attending a post-secondary educational facility. Information is available at http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.php

Horatio Alger National and State Scholarships
Criteria: Full-time senior, intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution; perseverance in overcoming personal adversity; critical financial need (preferably $55,000 or lower adjusted gross income per family); involvement in co-curricular and community service activities; minimum GPA of 2.0; be a United States citizen. National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Criteria: Seniors enrolled in an accredited public or private secondary school; demonstrates good citizenship (dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism). Applications are in the counselling office.
Award: Recognition, $250-$5,000
Deadline: Must be submitted to the WHS counseling office by November 1, 2019
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
Criteria: grades 5-12; legal resident of one of the 50 states of the U.S.; has engaged in a volunteer activity. For an application go to http://spirit.prudential.com
Award: Recognition-$1,000 and a trip to Washington D.C.
Deadline: November 5, 2019
Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week
Criteria: Seniors; We are now accepting applications to be nominated for "Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week" a program that recognizes top seniors where students may be featured on KSFY and receive a scholarship. You must be a member of a Touchstone Energy Cooperative. If you are interested in applying, please submit a resume and your electric co-op by email to Jennifer.Witt@k12.sd.us.
Award: Featured on KSFY and scholarship money

South Dakota Society Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship For Military Descendants
Criteria: Senior receiving an accredited high school diploma or GED who plans to attend an institution of higher learning; must be a resident of South Dakota and is the direct descendant of a United States military veteran. More information is in the counselling office.

College Board Opportunity Scholarships
Criteria: The College Board Opportunity Scholarships program is open to class of 2020 high school students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories.
