Course Registration & Academic PlanningStudents will register for courses during January/February. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain that their course selection fulfills graduation requirements and other post-secondary options. A minimum of 22.0 credits are required to earn a diploma.

Academic Planning |
In high school, every student creates a Academic Plan that includes at least 22 credits, covering the required courses for graduation. These requirements and credit details are listed in the District's Academic Plan guide. Students, along with their parents or guardians, select courses that match their career goals and support their success. If a student needs extra help in math or reading, counselors may recommend specific courses to meet their needs.
Each year, students review and update their Academic Plan during registration. The plan can change as students' goals and needs evolve throughout high school. |
CREDIT CLASSIFICATION |
At the beginning of each school year, high school students will be classified by the total number of credits. Students must earn a number of credits to be classified as a 10th, 11th, or 12th grader:
