SDSU Fishback Summer Scholars Program
July 8-12
Brookings, SD
The Summer Scholars Program is uniquely designed to engage students in several elements of an authentic college experience. Your student will have the opportunity to select a Primary Academic Program among one of our 7 colleges which will include specialized experiences and learning with SDSU faculty members. In addition, your student will participate in a shorter Mini Academic Program from another college of their choice. There will also be co-curricular activities that will emphasize socialization and professional development. Scholars will enjoy meals on campus and will be housed in Honors Hall where they will be mentored by current Honors College student counselors.
Program registration is an all-inclusive $275 per student, and the deadline to register for the program is June 1. Participants who enroll at SDSU will receive a $275 Summer Scholar Incentive to apply towards their first semester tuition. Students can find more information about the program and register to participate at https://www.sdstate.edu/scholarscamp.

USD Future Leaders Camp

Vermillion, SD
During July, the USD School of Education will be offering our weeklong summer program for gifted students entering grades 7-12 who want to expand their strengths and make lifelong friends. We believe each student is gifted in a unique way, and we welcome anyone who is recommended by a school official. At Future Coyote Leaders Camp, students will experience the following:
Dakota State University GenCyber Camps
June 16-21
Madison, SD
Learn, hack, fix, and explore cyber security. DSU GenCyber is a Cyber Security camp designed for high school students entering grades 10 through 12 (currently in 9-11). Students will participate in hands-on education sessions with DSU professors, alumni, and current students as well as other industry professionals.
The camp's main purpose is to educate and excite groups of students that may not have considered studying and working in cyber security. Students do not need any prior background or experience in security to attend. Computers are also provided so no need to bring your own.For more info, email info@gencyber.camp

USD Accounting Camp
The Institute is designed to bring interested high school sophomores and juniors to USD’s campus in Vermillion to learn about the accounting profession and related career opportunities. Students do not have to be currently enrolled in accounting or have taken an accounting class in order to attend the Institute. Students will need to have a staff member complete a recommendation form and the online registration. The recommendation forms are available in the counseling office.
